	I contacted Nancy by email and she immediately began to send me properties to view online. I scheduled a visit to Palm Springs and Nancy had arranged for me to view 18 condos in 2 days. I informed Nancy we had to do them all in one day! WE DID IT! The next day we wrote an offer for the very last condo we viewed the day before. 	The first thing we did after taking the decision to purchase a vacation property in the Palm Springs area was do some online research to try and find a friendly, professional and knowledgeable real estate agent. We found that, and more, in Nancy Hankin. We knew our primary residence being in Canada would not make it easy to view suitable properties as they became available. Nancy kept in touch with us almost daily - providing us with information on all new listings that met our requirements. After putting together a list of properties to view we made the trip and began the search. As our time was limited we were hoping Nancy would be willing to spend a long day with us. She met us at our hotel and our search began. After finding the perfect property Nancy worked on putting the offer together for us late into the evening.   Nancy recommended books for us to read on Canadians purchasing homes in the US. She also recommended areas in the desert to avoid and restaurants and other amenities to try. She provided us with contact numbers for service providers (and even made some of the calls for us). 	There is nothing I would like more than a testimonial praising Nancy Hankin as to her professional knowledge and acumen in the real estate field. Alas, this knowledge goes unchallenged so there is no need to state the obvious. Over a year ago, we put our 4200 square foot home in Santa Fe, New Mexico on the market.. Although it was exquisite in architectural detail, it was too large for my husband and myself as we fossilized into late senior citizenship. As soon as the house went on the market, I knew it would only be a matter of weeks before this wondrous home would sell. We really had no idea where we would go. Perhaps to a smaller home in Santa Fe or perhaps to the California Desert where we would spent several winters in the past. Two of our children and their spouses lived in Northern California, a mere one hour and ten minutes away by plane. I spent hours on the internet while waiting for our soon-to-be happy buyer. Browsing Realtor.com I found a lovely home, in our price range, being represented by Nancy Hankin. I e-mailed her for more information. I found other homes and other Realtors who quickly lost interest in me as the sale of our home dragged on. Not Nancy, She became my loyal pen pal. I sighed as each home I selected was bought by a buyer actually ready to move. Nancy sent suggestions as to what I might do to speed up our selling process. She thought we might put in an actual front door as the main door of our home opened into the kitchen, Granted the door was a handsome arched, carved wooden door and was on a huge deck overlooking the Sangre Cristo Mountains in the front and the entire city of Santa Fe to the right of the deck.
